Driving along the road always provided so many interesting things to see. People going about their everyday lives and interacting are fascinating.
Watching this taxi van fill up with gas was very funny. They drove one wheel up on a ramp and supposedly were able to get more gas in the tank this way. That's Albert walking away from the whole production :)
Because of the drought, feed for cattle is at an absolute premium so some men travel miles to find dry grass, corn stalks or straw that they bring back to the community on their bicycles and then sell. Water really makes such a difference to people and how they can care for family members and animals.

I can't imagine farming with oxen and bicycles. What a difficult way to make a living. Did Dad find the agriculture stuff interesting?
ReplyDeleteHave you tried tipping your van to get more gas in? ;)
